TEXAS METAL ALLIANCE To Enter Studio In April

February 23, 2009

TEXAS METAL ALLIANCE, the band featuring RIGOR MORTIS vocalist Bruce Corbitt, GAMMACIDE guitarists Rick Perry and Scott Shelby, GAMMACIDE/DEVILFIST bassist Alan Bovee and DEMONSEED drummer Joe Gonzalez, will enter the studio in April to record its debut album for a late 2009 release via Philip Anselmo's (DOWN, PANTERA) label Housecore Records. The group will also officially change its name soon. A CD-release show will take place on June 20 at Skillman Street Bar in Dallas, Texas. According to the band, "we will be filming this live performance, to be released on our TEXAS METAL ALLIANCE DVD that we have been working on now for over a year. 12 Pound Productions will be there with several cameras rolling to capture the band and crowd during our set. So obviously we want many of you there going crazy during our show to be part of this live TMA DVD performance."

Fan-filmed video footage of TEXAS METAL ALLIANCE's November 21, 2008 concert at Ridglea Theater in Fort Worth, Texas can be viewed below (clip uploaded by "EdgeKrusher37").
